BAT RULE FOR 2012
1.Wood, metal, ceramic, composite or graphite bats may be used. Wood bats comprised of laminate or composite wood may be used. The bat must not exceed 42 inches in length and 2 3/4 inches in diameter.
2. Any non wood bat must have the BBCOR certification code marked on the barrel of the bat.
3. Any bat in the opinion of the umpire that has been altered shall be removed from the game, the player shall be ejected and the team manager shall be ejected.
4. Any illegal bat used during the game shall be removed from the game, the player shall be ejected and the team manager shall be ejected.
NOTE: Washington State American Legion Baseball is committed to ensuring the safety of our players.
Illegal bats” and “altered bats” both impose greater safety risk to our players and therefore require the same penalties.

- 1.All Teams must register their teams on this site. (see left panel)
- 2. All players will register on this website. You can print your consent for for treatment when you complete the registration process.(see left panel)
- 3. We will use Point Streak again for our online scoring and Post Season Tournaments.
- 4. Insurance Rates for 2012 are the same as 2011. We have extended the date that you have to buy your insurance polices to May 15th. This will help Junior teams that are not sure if they will have a player born in 1994. This date may very based on your Area SOP's.

5. AA teams with a player born in 1994 must register as a Senior Team, and buy Senior Insurance and can still particpate in the AA program.
